It has been forever it seems since the last time I posted anything on this site. I just finished reading some of the comments that were placed here by other Deviant Artists and I must say I was really pleased. I thank you for those critiques and commants, I have been in one of those times in an artists life when things like this give me the drive to carry on. We all have ups and downs and things have been on the down side for awhile now. I am still working but sometimes it feels just that, like work. Support from fellow artists is what brings back the joy. Thank you all, I hope to post some new things soon.

It is so hard to truly work with this material. To use the glass as opposed to being used by it. The material has such a beauty in and of itself its hard to tell when people like your work or is it just the glass. When I try to create "serious" glass art I always try to figure out how to use the glass to convey the things that other materials cannot. The simplest way I have found is to use its ability to transmit light. Light then becomes my metaphor for enlightenment and we get something interesting, usually. Re: First Time

Don't know what to say or where to begin. I saw a web site created by an old friend of mine die the other day. He created an outlet for some of his creative tendencies and then had to remove it because othres in his profession seemed to feel it was improper. I don't know much about it but I read his farewell notice and was quite moved. He was always such a good writer I will miss being able to access his thoughts whenever I feel like it. Not much to say about it other than that I miss him. I think I'll call.

Sculpting must be very difficult.
I love your work!
Bravo!!
I marvel at the beauty that arises in the use of a gift so devoted to any kind of art. I liked much of their effort :D
Love your glass work!
I have included you in the feature news article series Artisan Crafts DDs for March 2009 because you got a DD last month.
Thank you so much. I have been absent for some time now, busy with a new job. So many questions, I will try to answer them over the next few weeks. Thank you all again.
I'd been wanting to feature you since last summer, but I just couldn't wait any longer because it seemed like you weren't going to come back, but glad you did!
